Not so recent now, but these pieces were acquired back in 2005 for the collection of The City of Port Phillip council. Amongst the selection this piece below by Mr Brown titled "Parlour Room". This is the second artwork of Mr Browns that the council has collected. An earlier commissioned piece entitled Pansexual Princess, a series of four large banners for the Midsumma Festival, funded by the Port Phillip council also entered their permanent collection.
Why not head down to the Town Hall in St Kilda and see if you can spy these works up on the wall.
