A few stops on the train west of Shibuya is the funky area of Shimo-Kitazawa. A low rise rabbit warren of an area, with a very student/artsy vibe. We went by for a look see and to check out some of the recycle clothing stores. It was buzzing in the early evening heat, a bit grimy but fun to poke around and explore. The purchasing proved fruitful, with a near new Comme shirt and Mr Brown nearly had a conniption when he scored a mint condition Westwood tote bag at a very knock down price.
We love Tokyo style recycling, it rocks.
